Sarah Moon was a model before she became a fashion photographer. She started by photographing her fellow-models, and ended up choosing to stay on the other side of the mirror. Very quickly, she was showered with praise and awards. Her work deals with privilege, evanescence, improbability and beauty and she says she wishes "more than anything to be touched..." which perhaps accounts for the nostalgic, yearning quality in her pictures.
