Since the attacks carried out by Hamas in Jerusalem on 7 October 2024, Israel has been waging war in Gaza. This marks a further escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has continued to flare up since the declaration of war in 1948, when the State of Israel was established on the lands of the Palestinian people.
