Synopsis
In North West Cambodia, in the villages on the high plains on the Vietnamese border, lives the Bunong ethnic group.
Cambodian medicine, marked by the influence of various doctrines borrowed from Buddhist, Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines, varies according to the region. The Bunongs have developed ancestral medicinal expertise that is based on plants and is practiced by secret caregivers who are respected by all – the Krus.
